Creative Crown™ can be painted simply.

Just a few tips and rules to follow

Never use oil or lacquer based paints or lacquer thinners.

Never paint with canned spray paints.

When in doubt test a scrap part and allow a few hours for results.

For best results painting Creative Crown™

It is best to paint with water based paints.

Water based latex and enamels work good. You can brush or spray paint. You can thin with water.

You can cover with 2 heavy coats or 3 thin coats.

3 thin coats it gives a smoother finish.

Prime, top coat and let dry throughly before putting on molding

After careful testing we have found that ICI paints save time and dry with a smooth finish. Just 1 coat of Gripper® and 1 topcoat of Ultra-Hide® or Dulux Advanced Alkyd® is needed.

ask for: Gripper® Primer/Sealer (3210) and

Glidden® Ultra-Hide® Latex paint(1416) or

Dulux® Advanced Alkyd paint (1508 or 1506)

Creative Crown™ national discount cards will be available in July 2006. It's good for all ICI products in all company owned stores and some ICI independent dealer stores. If you aren't close to an ICI store, you can purchase Gripper (3210) and Glidden Ultra-Hide latex paint in most Home Depot stores.

The best way to attach Creative Crown™

Put up Creative Crown on your walls with

LIQUID NAILS® HEAVY DUTY for construction and remodeling adhesive.

apply it to the back of the molding.

Use Liquid Nails® sparingly.

Make dashes 1" to 2" long (or zigzags) about 3-4 times per foot of molding.

NEVER GOB ON LIQUID NAILS®

First press molding to the wall and then pull it back from the

wall just a few inches for about 10 seconds.

This gives the glue a chance to activate.

Then press back into place.

Keep a watch for alignment for about 20 minutes while glue sets.

Follow instructions on LIQUID NAILS® tube.
